name-redacted asked: I'm also MtF and have great difficulties with sex, sometimes even curling up to watch TV with my partner can be uncomfortable. But for me it's not that I don't enjoy sex, it's just that I find it can be triggering. It doesn't automatically make you ACE, though there's no problem if you are. Not enjoying sex is different to not enjoying being triggered.
Thanks for weighing in. I definitely think it’s important to stress that being triggered by sex and therefore wanting to avoid it is profoundly different from being ace.
